ABOUT AMY
Hi! I'm Amy Nickell-Turner. I'm a broadcaster, author, and live events host with 15 years of experience in the UK media.
Having graduated from Leeds University, I began my career as a red carpet reporter before life took a rather unexpected turn when I found myself single and pregnant age 24.
One son and three years later, I released my first book, Confessions of a Single Mum, which launched my career in political and social commentary.
Since then, I have participated in hundreds of live television appearances, debates and newspaper reviews as a regular guest on Sky News, ITV, BBC, Channel 5, and GB News.
With every appearance, I aim to provide a down-to-earth, considered and compassionate perspective to often complex and sensitive subjects. But mainly, I say what I really think.
When I'm not on TV, I'm a regular pen for hire and columnist for national magazines and newspapers.
I'm also an experienced event facilitator, moderator and emcee, having hosted events for clients such as Sky, Coca-Cola, and The Premier League.
