Working on a freelance basis as new Mum developed a knack for developing ideas and crafting pitches that land commissions.

My freelance features writing has appeared across a variety of national newspapers from The Sun to the guardian.

In fact, a commission from Metro led to the publication of my first book, Confessions of a Single Mum, by Headline.

My words and ideas have also found their way into various magazines, including Cosmopolitan, Grazia and Fabulous.

I also have experience working in busy (understaffed) newsrooms to tight (insane) deadlines as a freelance shift writer for various magazines and newspapers.
